Xavier Flinois is a seasoned executive and Board Member with a track record of driving growth and profitability for global technology businesses with start-up to Fortune 500 leadership teams.
Mr. Flinois is currently an Investor and an Executive Advisor to CEOs and Private Equity Funds focused on technology-led growth for the Life Science and Healthcare sector.
He is also a Non-Executive Director at ActiGraph, a US based and fast-growing solution provider of wearable solutions to the Life Science research and development industry.
Until recently, he was a Member of the Executive Leadership Team of PAREXEL one of the Top 4 service providers to the biopharmaceutical and medical industry for the development and the commercialization of new medical therapies worldwide. He was President of PAREXEL Informatics.
Prior to this Mr. Flinois was the CEO of Clinical Solutions, a provider of large-scale cloud-based clinical decision support systems for the urgent and pandemic healthcare market.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Flinois spent 19 years at Schlumberger Ltd, the largest Oil & Gas Service company and a technology innovator. He became Group Executive Vice President and the CEO of its SchlumbergerSema IT Services business with 3 billion dollars of revenue.
Mr. Flinois also served as Member of the Management team at Atos, a top 5 Global IT Service provider, with a portfolio of responsibilities including all non-continental Europe operations and all strategic accounts worldwide.
For 6 years, Mr. Flinois was a Non-Executive Director at private-equity led Parkeon (now FlowBird), the global leader of payment and digital services for mobility in cities, operating in over 80 countries. He was the original founder of the business while at Schlumberger in the 1990s.
He was also a Board Member of AtosEuronext, a joint-venture between Atos and the Euronext stock exchange prior its merge with the NYSE, providing core technology to the capital and settlement market.
Mr. Flinois was recognized as one of the 2016 ComputerWorld Premier 100 Technology Leaders and of the 2018 PharmaVoice 100 most inspiring people in the Life Science Industry.
He was also a Torch bearer at both 2004 Athens and 2006 Torino Olympics.
Educated at Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées of Paris, France and author of several patents. Mr. Flinois, who was based during his career twice in Japan, on each of the three coasts of the USA, in France and in the UK, is the proud father of four globe-trotting children and a high-speed sailing trimaran regatta competitor.
